Grand Theft Photo

Richard Prince photographs other people’s photographs and presents them as his own. Last year, one of his prints sold for $3.4 million, setting the record for the most expensive photograph sold at auction. Back in 2005, one of his prints sold for $1.25 million, which set a record at that time.
