Sometimes wedding shoes tell a story.

For Max’s Bar Mitzvah, we started with portraits at Temple Beth Or in Washington Township.

After the service, I photographed a luncheon at the Saddle River Inn in Saddle River, NJ. First, a few photos of the setting before the guests arrived:

A mentalist bent a spoon using his magical powers…

… and this cool hawk stopped by on the roof.

I’ll post some photos from the great party at Space Odyssey USA soon!

I’ve photographed Mia since she was a baby, and now she has a little sister, Eva, who is just one month old! A few favorites from their portrait session:

There’s no better way to choose a band for your wedding than by hearing them live. I’m excited to be attending Ariel Entertainment’s free live band showcase on November 19th. My clients and potential clients are invited to attend. I’ll be there as a vendor to show my portfolio and maybe make some portraits.
Ariel’s awesome bass player, Francisco Centeno, is a neighbor in my town. He currently plays bass in Hairspray on Broadway. He’s toured with Aretha Franklin and Bette Midler, and recorded with Diana Ross, Smokey Robinson, Marvin Gaye, Gladys Knight and Whitney Houston. Francisco plays bass in this video of Bruce Springsteen on the Late Show with David Letterman. Check out Ariel’s web site and musicians at this link.
The showcase will be on Wednesday, November 19th, 2008 at:
Assembly East Hill, 597 Piermont Road, Closter, NJ 07624
8pm: Doors Open - Refreshments Provided
8:30pm: Band Performance
RSVP by phone at 800-233-2623 or by email to: register@arielentertainment.com. Please send me an email too if you plan to attend. I look forward to seeing you there!
A few photos from the New York City Marathon yesterday. The weather was perfect! After the finish line, runners received a distinctive blanket to keep warm.
